Controversy After Idaho Mom Is Arrested at Playground

Controversy erupts as a mom is arrested at a playground that’s closed due to the pandemic. Anti-lockdown parents in Meridian, Idaho reportedly organized to “tear the tape off the playground” and let their kids play. When police were called and asked them to leave, one mom wasn’t having it. “Arrest me for being in the park. Do it,” she said. And so the officer did. Her arrest triggered protests outside City Hall by other Idahoans who just can’t seem to comply with stay-at-home orders.
